Seether and Skillet Deliver Explosive Co-Headlining Show at Saint Louis Music Park

On Thursday, October 3rd, 2024, halfway through a co-headlining tour, two of active rock’s biggest bands, Seether and Skillet made a stop at the Saint Louis Music Park for a monstrous performance.

The show kicked off right at 6:00 PM with Royale Lynn. Lynn took the stage with a bright smile and blew the crowd away with an eclectic mix of rock, country, and pop influences.

Next, keeping the southern-rock vibes going was Tim Montana with a very high-energy performance. Montana took time between each song to tell stories from his upbringing which undoubtedly had an influence on his songwriting. Montana wrapped up his set by bringing Lynn out for a rendition of “Devil You Know,” one of the singles from his newest album Savage.

As the sun went down and temperatures started to drop in St. Louis, Skillet made sure to heat things back up starting with “Feel Invincible.” Throughout the night, they played a wide variety of songs from across the last 20 or so years of their career. Skillet was truly a sight to see with a fun light show and tons of energy from all four members. At one point, frontman John Cooper even strapped CO2 cannons to his arms while simultaneously jumping around the stage and continuing to sing.

Finally, Seether hit the stage to close out the night. Seether did away with all of the flashing lights and production elements that Skillet brought out, for a more stripped down, raw experience. While this may be disappointing to some, the result made the 4,500 capacity amphitheater feel like an intimate, indoor nightclub. Seether did what they do best, and that’s play loud and heavy rock and roll. Seether closed out the night with two of their biggest hits, “Fake It,” and “Remedy,” making for an unforgettable show for the audience.
Seether’s new album The Surface Seems So Far is out now. Skillet’s 12th album, Revolution, releases worldwide on November 1st.
