FOX Sports Announces Broadcast Team for 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Coverage

FOX Sports has unveiled its broadcast team for the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, beginning with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 2 at noon ET. The team includes veteran motorsport broadcaster Will Buxton for play-by-play, alongside race analysts James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell. This announcement was made by Brad Zager, FOX Sports President of Production & Operations.

Returning to FOX Sports after beginning his career on SPEED Channel in 2010, Buxton brings a wealth of motorsport experience. Known for his work in Formula 1, Buxton has served as an announcer, pit reporter, and digital presenter, and is widely recognized for his role in Netflix’s Drive to Survive. Reflecting on his new role, Buxton said, “This is a dream come true. I’m honored to help tell the incredible stories of INDYCAR drivers.”

Hinchcliffe, a former INDYCAR star and NBC Sports analyst, joins FOX Sports with a passion for growing the sport. A six-time INDYCAR race winner and fan favorite, Hinchcliffe said, “It’s fantastic to reunite with Townsend and work alongside Will to elevate INDYCAR on FOX.”

Bell, a seasoned driver and broadcaster, completes the team. A former Indy Lights champion and Indianapolis 500 veteran, Bell has a long history with FOX Sports. “It’s exciting to return to where my TV career began and help showcase INDYCAR’s unique stories,” he said.

The 2025 season will feature all 17 races on FOX, along with two Indianapolis 500 qualification sessions, marking a record 19 broadcasts for the series. Fans can watch live on FOX or stream via the FOX Sports app.

This star-studded lineup promises to bring fresh energy to INDYCAR coverage as FOX Sports begins a new chapter with the series.
