GRAMMY Win for Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired By The Film (Deluxe)

At the 2025 GRAMMY Awards, Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired By The Film (Deluxe) took home the award for Best Reggae Album, with Farruko’s hit single “Rasta Reggae (Jamming)” playing a key role in the project’s success. Released by Island Records and Tuff Gong in association with Paramount Pictures’ One Love film, the album features modern tributes to Bob Marley’s legendary music. Farruko’s track, which samples Marley’s 1977 classic “Jamming,” was co-written by Franklin Martinez and produced by Ghetto.

“I am truly honored to have contributed to a GRAMMY Award-winning album,” Farruko said. “Much respect to Island Records and the Marley Family for trusting me to honor Bob Marley, one of my musical heroes.”

The GRAMMY win caps off an incredible year for Farruko. In October, he released the 26-track CVRBON VRMOR, an introspective album marking his artistic and spiritual evolution. Its lead single “CABLES CRUZADOS” climbed to #5 on Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart. The album has amassed over 178.5 million streams on Spotify and 50 million on Apple Music.

In December, Farruko made history at Puerto Rico’s El Coliseo, performing a 57-song set to a sold-out crowd, featuring hits like “PEPAS,” “Calma,” and “La Tóxica.” His show honored the venue’s 20th anniversary and featured special guests like De La Ghetto and Ñengo Flow.

As Farruko continues his search for meaning through music, fans can expect more in 2025. His journey, deeply rooted in faith and self-reflection, remains a driving force behind his evolving artistry.
