Legendary rock band TESLA has unveiled the electric version of their latest music video for “All About Love.” This track is part of their All About Love EP, now available as a special edition release on limited collector’s 12″ vinyl. This exclusive release showcases TESLA’s signature versatility with three distinct versions of “All About Love”: Electric, Acoustic, and Live. Fans will get to experience TESLA’s full range, from high-energy performances to stripped-down acoustic renditions, proving once again why their music stands the test of time.
TESLA continues their relentless rock and roll journey with their Keepin’ It Real Tour 2025, including a stop at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, IL, on August 28. Known for their bluesy, soulful sound rooted in the authenticity of 1970s rock, TESLA’s influences range from Bad Company and Grand Funk Railroad to AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, and Aerosmith.
Formed in 1984 in Sacramento, CA, TESLA originally went by the name City Kidd before rebranding in honor of Nikola Tesla, the genius inventor behind electrical innovations. Their 1986 debut album, Mechanical Resonance, became a platinum-selling success, featuring hits like “Modern Day Cowboy” and “Little Suzi.” Their 1989 follow-up, The Great Radio Controversy, brought even greater success with tracks like “Heaven’s Trail (No Way Out)” and “Love Song.” In 1990, TESLA revolutionized rock music with Five Man Acoustical Jam, producing their biggest hit, a cover of Five Man Electrical Band’s “Signs.” Over the decades, TESLA has continued to evolve, releasing nine albums since 2000 and maintaining a devoted fan base worldwide.
Produced by TESLA’s Brian Wheat and Frank Hannon, the All About Love EP highlights multiple renditions of the new single, including a classically influenced acoustic solo by Hannon titled “From The Heart.” The EP also features a live performance recorded in Las Vegas, blending “All About Love” with the James Gang classic “Walk Away.”
As always, The Barn continues to bring fans exclusive content, including a recent appearance by TESLA’s Brian Wheat on the Midwest Mixtape Podcast. Tune in for insight into TESLA’s enduring legacy and their latest musical endeavors.
