Nick Sanchez Scores Breakthrough Victory in Focused Health 250 at EchoPark Speedway

In a thrilling night under the lights at EchoPark Speedway, Nick Sanchez captured his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series victory in dramatic fashion, taking the checkered flag in the Focused Health 250 on Saturday, June 28. The 24-year-old driver of the No. 48 Big Machine Spiked Coolers Chevrolet delivered a career-defining performance, marking his first win in 25 Xfinity Series starts.

Racing for team owner Scott Borchetta and under the guidance of crew chief Patrick Donahue, Sanchez showcased speed, control, and maturity beyond his experience, holding off a strong field and crossing the line as the highest-finishing rookie of the night. The victory also marks his sixth top-10 finish of the 2025 season and his second top-10 in just two career races at EchoPark.

Coming in second was Carson Kvapil, who notched his first top-10 finish at EchoPark Speedway and his seventh top-10 result of the season, proving his consistency and resilience in a tightly contested race. Rounding out the podium was Sam Mayer, who secured his fourth top-10 finish in nine appearances at EchoPark, continuing his strong campaign in 2025.

Despite finishing third, Mayer still trails points leader Justin Allgaier by 63 points in the overall standings, as Allgaier maintains his lead heading into the second half of the season.

With his first win under his belt, Nick Sanchez has firmly planted his flag among the Xfinity Series’ rising stars, and fans will be watching closely to see how this momentum carries forward in the weeks ahead.
