The St. Louis sports calendar gets a major addition this week as the Stifel Charity Classic returns to Norwood Hills Country Club from Thursday, September 4 through Sunday, September 7, 2025. As one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR Champions, this 54-hole tournament brings legends of the game back to St. Louis while also delivering a festival-like atmosphere for fans of all ages.
Tickets are on sale now at stifelcharityclassic.com, starting at just $20. Children 16 and under receive free admission with a ticketed adult, making this event both affordable and family-friendly.
A Full Weekend of Action
The action kicks off Thursday with the Official Pro-Am, followed by tournament play beginning Friday morning. Fans can look forward to Folds of Honor Friday, where spectators are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to honor military families. Friday also brings an extra highlight: the Community Concert presented by CarShield, headlined by O.A.R. after the opening round.

New in 2025, fans can enjoy the Putt for Charity contest presented by Midwest BankCentre and the Kids Zone, offering interactive fun for younger attendees throughout the weekend.
Golf Channel will provide national coverage of the tournament each day:
- Friday, Sept. 5: 1–4 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 6: 2–5 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 7: 2–5 p.m.
A Strong Field and Defending Champion
The Stifel Charity Classic has quickly built a reputation for attracting some of the biggest names in golf. Past champions include David Toms (2021), Padraig Harrington (2022), and last year’s winner, Y.E. Yang (2024). Fans can expect another star-studded field as PGA TOUR Champions icons return to test the historic Norwood Hills layout (par 71, 6,992 yards, designed by Wayne Stiles).
Jay Delsing on Knuckleball Prime Time
To preview the week, St. Louis’ own Jay Delsing joined Knuckleball Prime Time to talk about the tournament, his role as an ambassador for golf in the region, and his brand-new book You Wouldn’t Believe Me If I Told You (featuring a foreword by Jack Nicklaus). Delsing, who grew up in North County and caddied at Norwood as a kid, brings a unique hometown perspective to the event, along with stories from his 25 years on the PGA TOUR.
In addition to his new book, Delsing continues to grow the game through his radio show Golf with Jay Delsing on 101 ESPN and his ongoing support of the St. Louis golf community. His insights into both the competitive field and the charitable mission behind the Classic make his appearance on Knuckleball Prime Time a must-listen for golf fans.
More Than Golf
From celebrity appearances to charity initiatives, the Stifel Charity Classic is more than just a tournament. It is a celebration of golf, community, and the St. Louis sports spirit. With live music, interactive fan zones, and opportunities to get up close to some of golf’s greatest players, it is an event designed to appeal to everyone, whether you are a lifelong golfer or just looking for a great weekend outing.
