Josh Carroll is set to become the new owner of Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, as negotiations for the sale near completion. Current co-owners Ray and Sue Marler confirmed the ongoing discussions in a Dec. 13 written statement on the raceway’s website. The Marlers, who co-own the facility alongside professional racing driver Ken Schrader and his wife, Ann, expressed their confidence in Carroll’s ability to elevate the track’s legacy. “We are thrilled to share that an agreement has been reached with Josh Carroll for the purchase of Federated Auto Parts Raceway – I-55,” the Marlers stated. “While we’re still in the final stages of the process, we wanted to take a moment to express our excitement for the future under new ownership. We have no doubt that Josh will take the track to new heights, continuing its legacy and elevating it to the next level.”
