Killswitch Engage Announce Massive 2026 Tour With Jesse Leach Appearance on Vulgar Display of Podcast

Metalcore giants Killswitch Engage are keeping the momentum rolling in 2026 with the announcement of additional headline tour dates across Canada and the United States in support of their latest album This Consequence, out now via Metal Blade Records.

The band features Jesse Leach on vocals, Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel on guitars, Mike D’Antonio on bass, and Justin Foley on drums. The group already had a busy summer schedule lined up, but now fans across North America are getting even more opportunities to catch the legendary band live.

The first leg of the band’s U.S. headline tour kicks off June 3 in Detroit and runs through June 27 in San Francisco. That stretch includes appearances at major festivals like Milwaukee Metal Fest and Warped Tour in Washington, D.C. Support for the opening leg comes from Machine Head, Iron Reagan, and Havok.

The band has also announced an additional U.S. run beginning September 19 in Cleveland and wrapping October 1 in Sacramento with an appearance at Aftershock. Support on that leg will come from Machine Head, Rivers of Nihil, and Judiciary. The route also includes a stop at Louder Than Life.

“We are all beyond excited to get back on the road in support of our latest album This Consequence,” said Leach in the official announcement. “This upcoming run will see us bringing two distinct and devastating lineups across Canada and a small run around the United States. Each lineup is built to deliver a unique and crushing experience.”

The excitement surrounding the tour continues the momentum built by This Consequence, which has become another major milestone for the Massachusetts metal pioneers. The album produced one of the biggest radio hits of the band’s career with the single “I Believe,” which climbed to No. 3 on the charts while helping earn the band coverage from outlets including Forbes, SPIN, Revolver, and Outburn.

Killswitch Engage’s legacy remains unmatched within modern metal. Since emerging from Western Massachusetts in 2000, the band helped define and popularize metalcore through a groundbreaking blend of melodic European-inspired guitar work, East Coast hardcore energy, and emotionally resonant lyricism. Albums like Alive or Just Breathing, The End of Heartache, As Daylight Dies, Disarm the Descent, Incarnate, and Atonement helped shape an entire generation of heavy music.

Over the years, the band has earned multiple gold and platinum certifications, three Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance, and more than 3 billion streams worldwide. They’ve toured alongside iconic acts such as Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Slayer, My Chemical Romance, Mastodon, and Parkway Drive while remaining festival staples across North America and Europe.

Recently, Leach also appeared on the Vulgar Display of Podcast brought to you by The Barn Media, where he discussed the realities of modern touring economics, maintaining mental health on the road, vocal health, and the band’s philosophy regarding sustainability and longevity. The conversation offered fans a deeper look into the mindset behind Killswitch Engage’s continued success and their selective approach to touring following the pandemic era.
